This week we have been traveling around Europe with our minds! We started the week visiting Madrid, cooking bruschetta and playing games during our PE lesson. On Tuesday we drew the Eiffel Tower in a postcard and played with Lego to see who could build the tallest tower. We also did a super fun experiment! On Wednesday we researched information about Italy and Rome. We designed our own pizza trying to share the ingredients equally and coloured the Italian flag. On Thursday we had a go at decorating a Greek vase with balls made out of coloured tissue paper and we finished our week with some exciting water games!

Last week was filled with lots of fun activities! We visited Istanbul and made yummy rice balls and played fun games during our PE lessons. We also learnt about Dubai and completed an Egg Hunt around the Bluewaters Island. We had a go at writing our names in Chinese and made a 3D fish! The highlight of the week was the Kimono design and the frog races! Children are excited to see what will happen next week!

This week we have explored Oceania! On Monday, we researched touristic things to do in Makassar, Indonesia. We had a PE lesson and a cooking workshop where we made sausage rolls and cheesecakes. We also coloured some Indonesian Batik inspired mindfulness colouring pages and the flag. On Tuesday we went to Sidney with our minds, we watched funny and interesting videos about Australian animals and coloured some images. Furthermore, we completed some maths activities to refresh our knowledge while listening to relaxing music. On Wednesday we learned a Samoan Sasa dance! We had a PE lesson and after we watched Moana while colouring images of Samoan dancers and the crest of Samoa. On Thursday our teacher told us a story called ‘Maui and the Sun’ and we made our own stick puppets so we could retell the story. We also had a music lesson. After that, we made our own Hei Matau totem and wished for peace, prosperity and good health, like in the New Zealand spiritual tradition. To finish our great week, on Friday, we went on a really fun trip to Lo Rufete Multi-adventure!
